Local Sights

San Luis Obispo, located about 3 hours from either Los Angeles or San Francisco, is nestled in a small valley, a few miles inland from the Pacific Ocean, between Pismo Beach and Morro Bay.

Downtown San Luis Obispo is a popular tourist destination, featuring great shopping, food, and a very lively nightlife.
It is a famous wine growing region with a Mediterranean climate. It is surrounded by beautiful rolling hills, small mountains, sandy beaches, and thousands of miles of curvy country
highways and roads to between them to explore.

If you've ever dreamed of riding your scooter through the south of Spain or France, come and see our hidden gem, you will be amazed!

Being a college town, we've got excellent bars and pubs throughout downtown.
Attractions like Bubblegum Alley (bring lots of gum, and don't touch the walls!)

If you have extra time, come early and visit our world famous Farmers Market (think evening street carnival, with some produce for sale) on Thursday evenings. Downtown is closed to
traffic, and the streets fill with 10,000+ people of all ages, eating, shopping, enjoying live music, jugglers, crazy people, and having a general goodtime.

In addition to being the southern entry to the famous Big Sur Coast, we also have some of the most amazing beach towns in California, all just a short drive or scooter ride away.
